The Massachusetts Railroad Association provides a forum for the railroads operating in the Commonwealth to share information and to promote knowledge and understanding of the role of railroads in the safe, efficient and economic transportation of people and goods in, through and out of the state.

Membership in the Association includes:
Bay Colony Railroad; CSXT; Fore River Transportation; Housatonic Railroad; Massachusetts Central Railroad; New England Central Railroad; Pan AM Railways; Pioneer Valley Railroad; and Providence and Worcester Railroad.
